Seven years after buying the house, the family felt the need of a complete renovation and called the architect Atelier Kermelven. The pool-house was open all year long and after a long winter, dead leaves accumulated inside.

In order to protect the furniture during the low season and to solve problem of the dead leaves, they decided to close this space with folding doors. Four full-height panels are suspended to the main beam and can easily be retracted on the left, leaving the space usable.

The doors are made of Austrian larch frames holding maritime pine plywood panels assembled together with stainless steel hardware from a Belgian company named ROB.
